We are currently seeking interest for a unique opportunity to serve within the Calvary Relief ministry LOCALLY.  ​

Old Bridge OEM (Office of Emergency Management) and Calvary Relief will be working towards developing a partnership in order to provide supplemental aid for incidents that occur within the township of Old Bridge.  This partnership would lead to further training opportunities with Old Bridge and other Middlesex county emergency response partners.  The focus would be to offer our services and personnel for emergency shelter set up and management as well as offering any additional help with critical incidents.  

 

The township of Old Bridge had previously disbanded their CERT team.  This presents an opportunity for Calvary Relief to receive training and experience as well as partnering with our local community.  The initial training would be on emergency sheltering and consist of classroom and practical training, followed up with CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training held at CCOB over a series of weeks.  Participants in this program would also be offered future training opportunities if and when they arise.   

 

This would enable us to set up a CCOB Calvary Relief CERT team to work/serve alongside Old Bridge's OEM.  This provides the opportunity to serve locally and get training for all interested in disaster response and also for those unable to deploy with our Calvary Relief teams to other states.
