Deploying Back to Asheville
Feb. 2nd - 8th, 2025

Hurricane Helene made landfall w/140-mph winds in FL & then swept northward leaving a path of catastrophic devastation in 5 states - one area hardest hit was Asheville, NC. Many are still struggling to survive and get their lives in order.
​​

Our Calvary Relief team will be deploying back to Asheville, NC on Feb. 2nd - 8th, this time serving with Calvary Chapel Asheville's disaster response ministry ministering to those in desperate need of help - letting them know we care and, most importantly, that God cares. 

​

If interested in joining us, please pray about it and register ASAP.  Space is limited.

Project Description: Team members will assist homeowners affected by making repairs to damaged/destroyed homes.  Some may help out in Distribution Center, but most will be in the field.  No skills are necessary prior to serving. Teams will be led by experienced team leads.

Additional Information:  Volunteers just need to bring blow-up mattress, linen, pillow, towel, and toiletries. Tools will be provided but need to bring long pants, warm clothes and sturdy shoes/boots.  Calvary Relief team members will be given a Calvary Relief t-shirt and tote bag.

Supplies Needed in Asheville:  Since one of our CCOB team members will be driving to Asheville, we are able to bring a few supplies.  If you would like to donate any of these, please contact Carol at carolvp@ccob.org.

 

TOTAL COST: $300 which covers RT airfare, van/car rental, gas, & lodging (may be some add'l cost for food) to be paid when registering for the trip so airline tickets can be purchased. (NOTE -if airfares go up significantly, cost of trip may go up as well).
