Deploying to CA Apr. 6th-12th
in Response to Palisades Fire


The Palisades Fire was a highly-destructive wildfire that began burning in the Santa Monica Mountains of Los Angeles County on January 7, 2025, which grew to destroy large areas of Pacific Palisades, Topanga, and Malibu before it was fully contained after 24 days on January 31. Thousands of homes were destroyed!

Our Calvary Relief team will be deploying back to CA on April 6th - 12th, 2025 - this time in response to the Palisades Fire teaming up with Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team to share the hope and love of Jesus Christ with those affected by these horrific fires. ​

Project Description: Team members will assist homeowners affected by Palisades Fire by helping to recover personal property by sifting the ashes of their homes.
​
Accommodations: Cornerstone West Los Angeles, 1609 S Barrington Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90025.

Additional Information: Volunteers need to bring twin-size air mattress, linen, pillow, towel, and toiletries as well a long pants and sturdy boots. Volunteers will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), provided by Samaritan's Purse, that includes a Tyvek suit and a N-95 mask. It is recommended that volunteers be free of facial hair, for best fit, when wearing N-95 masks.​
TOTAL COST: $375 Cost will cover airfare, van/car rental, and gas. Food and lodging is covered by Samaritan's Purse. Trip payment due when registering for the trip so airline tickets can be purchased. (NOTE -if airfares go up significantly, cost of trip may go up as well so sign up asap).
