Hurricane Helene made landfall w/ 140-mph winds in FL on Sept. 27 - the strongest hurricane (Cat. 4) to hit this area in recorded history. ​Devastation in Valdosta was extensive as hurricane-force winds crossed the state. The storm toppled trees, destroyed buildings & left people trapped.

Our Calvary Relief disaster response ministry is planning to deploy to Valdosta, GA on Wed. Nov. 13th through Wed. Nov. 20th.  If interested in joining us, please pray about it and register ASAP.  Space is limited.  Click here to register.  ​

Project Description:   Team members will assist homeowners affected by the hurricane and will help in Jesus' Name with tree work, debris cleanup, roof tarping, and mud outs. No skills are necessary prior to serving. Teams will be led and instructed by experienced team leads.

Accommodations: We will be staying at the Morningside Baptist Church, 425 Connell Road Valdosta, GA 31602.

Additional Information: Meals will be provided.  Volunteers just need to bring blow-up mattress, linen, pillow, towel, and toiletries.  Tools will be provided as well as two Samaritan's Purse t-shirts, but need to bring long pants and sturdy shoes/boots.  Calvary Relief team members will be given a Calvary Relief t-shirt (to be worn while traveling) and tote bag.

 

TOTAL COST: only $350 (covers RT airfare, van/car rental, gas, food & lodging) to be paid when registering so airline tickets can be purchased. (NOTE - if airfares increase significantly, there may be an additional charge, so please register early).​​​​

 

NOTE:  If unable to go for the whole week, we have a few spots available from Sat. Nov. 16th - Wed. 20th.  We are also planning another trip to Valdosta Dec. 1st - Dec. 5th.
